“Who Am I? Who I Am.” is a visuaizationl tool designed to reinforce learning objectives for the “Genes and Genealogy” undergraduate course. Watch Principal Investigator Dr. Aditi Pai at Spelman College talk about the project.

The project began with a team of scientists and one artist (Fellman) researching innovative ways to teach freshman college students about human genomics and evolution. A proposal was made to develop new curricula that included personal DNA tests and a visualization tool to make genomics relevant and easier to understand. The tool, designed by Fellman, included resources and methods to document their discoveries.

The National Science Foundation funded the proposal and subsequently included in biology classes at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia during 2016, 2017, and 2018 academic years.
